MY WORLD: April 2012

Some women are really funny you know... something happened on Saturday and i was like "what was all that for?" o.k i took Bubu for her vitamin A immunization (the one for three years. she will be three on the 20th) and the crowd was quite large so we all sat down waiting for our turns and this fair lady walked in with her very big baby .( got to find out the baby is 7 months) The baby is so big and beautiful and everyone just stared at both of them.

The lady before getting a seat was saying " i want to sit where there is an AC my baby doesn't like heat" she eventually sat close to me and the next thing she said to me " excuse me please, do you have airtime on your phone i want to tell my driver to repark the car cos we won't be leaving immediatly" well i gave her my phone and she collected it, hesitated and handed it back to me saying "don't bother my sister i think there is no need" we were still there and she started again "oh!!! when will it be my trun, my husband is travelling back to Itally tonight and i have to see him off to the airport" no one joined in her gist and she just kept talking big... Somehow Bubu started playing with her baby and we got talking and i asked her what was on my mind since, i asked " so my sister what food are you giving to your baby? she is soooo BIG.." and this lady started out: (with a very thick ibo accent) " o!! you mean my baby... ah my husband sends her food from Itally. she has never tasted any food made in Nigeria.. not even water... i mean my husband he is a very caring man, he does'nt joke with us.ooo (she even got up and was almost screeming it) he travells to Itally like no man business.ooo my dear, this my baby the last time she was sick we took her to a hospital in India (i was wondering why then give her immunization in Nigeria) the lady that was siting close to us then asked her " please what is the name of the baby food" can you believe what my igbo sister said? " Nne i don't know the name.ooo i don't look at the pack" i was irritated so i quickly got up. well to cut this very long story short this lady immunized her baby and left because she came for a different one from mine. When i finished i decided to go and say hello to a nurse friend who works in that hospital....when i got there.. guess who i saw? that same lady feeding her baby with PAP mixed with CRAYFISH and PALMOIL. I can hear you say.. "Gift are you sure?" yes i am... my nurse friend confirmed it, she said she saw here mixing it. when the lady saw me, you could tell that she was so embarrased....she left there immediatly..and on my way home, i saw my babe using her LEGGEDIS BENZ (you know what i mean) Really so Funny!! i had a good laugh. but wait.ooo i just don't get it!! what was all that for?

A lot has happened since the last time i updated this blog.... Tickle has been dedicated... Honi added another year...Seun a good friend at work had his wedding and a whole lot more good things that i can't remember rite now!!!. Any wayz i took lotz of pix for yeah!!!!!
